Hanky Code Bandanas

First popularized in the 1970s, the hanky code (sometimes called “flagging”) is a convenient way to signal your sexual interests to others. Different colored handkerchiefs indicate specific sexual acts or interests, and on which side you choose to display the hanky indicates whether you prefer the top/giving/dominant role (left side) versus the bottom/receiving/submissive role (right side). Some folks wear their hanky around the neck if they switch/are versatile about their roles.
