Tools for Gender Expression:
Let’s Talk About Feminizing Tools with Ashley Altadonna
Friday, October 18, 8:30 pm

Expressing our authentic selves, relating with others confidently and comfortably, finding a home in our bodies-- these tasks can be especially challenging for trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people. Sometimes using feminizing products (breast forms/prosthetics, shapewear such as gaffs, girdles, or padded garments) can help us feel more comfortable in our own skin.

We will take a hands-on look at a variety of trans-feminine gear. We’ll examine different types of products, their features and limitations, the pros and cons of various materials, and what to look for when balancing cost and performance. How can we use these items? How do we take care of them? How do they relate to our own self-care and health? We'll also cover some practical tips to make everyday use of these items more comfortable, manageable, and effective.

This session offers a valuable opportunity to see a range of gender expression gear first-hand.
