CLASS: Gadgets and Gizmos
Gadgets and Gizmos: Returning the fun to sexual function
with Lucky Tomaszek
Thursday, September 14, 8:30 pm
Our culture continues to hold a very romantic view of sex, one in which all we need for a mutually satisfying sexual encounter is two naked bodies and a little enthusiasm. Those of us living with pain and disability know that there's a lot more to it. It's helpful to let go of deeply ingrained beliefs about the "shoulds" of sex, and instead open up to all of the possibilities inside of us. When we learn how to work with our body, instead of against it, we often find that we are capable of experiencing more than we thought possible. This class will discuss tools, toys, aids and devices to help facilitate sexual expression (specifically sexual health, function and pleasure). We will also emphasize that there's no right way to have sex. There's only what's right for you.
Welcoming to people of all genders, orientations and relationship statuses.
This is a FREE event. Pre-registration is not necessary.
